  • All moving companies on Movely are thoroughly vetted to ensure they meet our high standards for reliability, professionalism, and customer service.

  • No. Movely is committed to transparency. The quote you receive includes all costs associated with your move.

  • Yes, you can modify your moving details after booking. There is no fee for changing or adding to your move plan; your rate will adjust based on the additional items added to your inventory. Changes to the moving date can also be made, but prices may vary based on the new date, and you will be responsible for any difference.

  • Cancellations are handled according to the policies of the individual moving companies. Please refer to the terms and conditions provided at the time of booking.

  • Payment is made to Movely. A pre-authorization is placed on your card when you book your move, and your card is charged before your move.

  • Getting a quote is easy! Simply visit our website, and click "get a quote". Input your moving details, and list your inventory. You’ll receive a range of quotes from different movers to choose from.

  • Absolutely. We only allow verified customers to leave reviews, ensuring that you get genuine feedback on our movers.

  • f any issues arise during your move, our support team is here to assist. Additionally, all our movers are insured to handle potential damages or losses. You can also upload information on your building management, and the movers will provide a certificate of insurance for your building if needed.

  • Right now we have a web app,  currently working on developing a mobile app to make the process even more convenient. Stay tuned for updates!

  • User feedback is crucial to us. You can provide feedback through customer reviews of movers or directly by emailing info@usemovely.com.

    • Plan Ahead: Book your move as early as possible.

    • Inventory List: Check that the inventory in your move plan is accurate and that you update it with any additional items you may come across. You can updates your inventory list up until your move begins. 

    • Packing Supplies: Gather or purchase all necessary packing supplies, or opt for professional packing services. Need to buy supplies? We can help with that too.

    • Label Boxes: Clearly label boxes with their contents and the room they belong to.

    • Notify Utilities: Make sure to forward your mail and inform utility companies of your move to ensure timely service transfers. 

  • We recommend letting the movers know about any fragile or valuable items. Consider opting for professional packing services for these items to ensure they are properly protected during your move.

    Insurance?!?

  • Of Course! Many of our movers are equipped to handle large or specialty items such as pianos, pool tables, and artwork. Be sure to include these items on your inventory when booking to ensure the movers are prepared.

  • Our movers follow strict safety protocols to protect your belongings and ensure a safe move. This includes using appropriate moving equipment, secure packing techniques (when this service is selected), and adherence to all safety regulations.  *this is an interesting one- it’s where trust comes in and this question could mean many things— health safety, physical safety, or preventing damage.  With respect to movers they are going to want to feel safe knowing the mover has been vetted, has worked for at least 3 years in the industry. Can’t say movers are background checked because it’s not like Uber drivers, but ppl want to feel safe knowing who is coming in their home and taking their things… we should work on this section 

  • Movely occasionally offers promotions and discounts. Keep an eye on our website and subscribe to our newsletter for the latest updates on special offers.

  • Many of our movers offer additional services such as storage solutions, packing, disposal of unwanted items, and more. These services will be listed on each mover’s profile, so you can select the one that best fits your needs.

  • Movely takes your privacy seriously. We use industry-standard encryption to protect your personal information and do not share your data with third parties without your consent. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more details. This one is also very important for us to look at more, we need to avoid any sort of data breach which could come with high fines if it includes certain financial information. 

  • Yes, you can include multiple pickup and drop-off locations when you enter your moving details in your Move plan. This allows you to plan complex moves with ease.

  • If you encounter any issues during your move, please contact our customer support team as soon as possible. We are committed to resolving any complaints or disputes quickly and fairly which is why payment for your move is not released to the Movers until after your move is complete. Should a dispute arise between you and the mover, Movely will withhold some or all of your payment to the mover for up to ___ days while your issue is being resolved. Our movers are also insured, so any damages or losses will be handled according to their insurance policies.

  • If your building management requires a certificate of insurance, you can upload the necessary information on our platform. The movers will then provide the certificate to comply with your building requirements. For more on certificates of insurance, see here.

  • Yes, Movely offers various resources on our website to help you plan your move, including an organized move plan, printable/downloadable checklists, packing tips, and moving guides. These resources are designed to make your moving experience as smooth as possible.

  • If you need to reschedule your move, simply log in to your account and update your moving details. Keep in mind that prices may vary based on the new date that you choose. There is no fee for rescheduling, but you will be responsible for any difference in cost, likewise, if the price goes down, your invoice will be adjusted accordingly. 

  • Payments are processed securely through our platform. A pre-authorization is placed on your card at the time of booking, and the final charge is processed before your move. You will receive a detailed invoice outlining all charges.

  • Yes, you can request an estimate for packing services separately when listing your inventory. Movers that offer packing services will provide quotes based on the items you need packed.

  • Remember, with Movely we take the stress out of moving! If your mover cancels, we will re-book your move with another trusted mover at the same price you were originally promised. 

  • No problem, just give us 48hours notice. Within 48 hours there is a 25% cancellation fee, and moves cancelled within 24 hours or less ???
